Siathas explained that blockchain is no longer seen as being related to cryptocurrencies alone, but, as the need grows for businesses across a wide variety of industries to integrate blockchain-focused solutions, it is now in the spotlight with an eminent role to play.

Announcing their choice as the Cyprus training and certification partner, Blockchain Training Alliance CEO Chad Decker said that “partnering with EIMF means that students learning from our Blockchain content will receive the highest quality education experience. According to an announcement, the BTA-EIMF partnership will offer the required training in five subjects for certification in Blockchain Business Foundations for managers, Hyperledger Training for developers and administrators, Ethereum Training for programmers and developers, Blockchain Security Training and Blockchain Architecture Training.
The Cabinet appointed a joint working group last summer to develop blockchain technology in Cyprus and place the island on the world map for digital currencies.
The blockchain sector already sees Cyprus among leaders in the development of cryptocurrency and blockchain, with the island named among the five small economies at the forefront, together with Georgia, Thailand, Malta and Liechtenstein.
