Limassol Port consulting services competition

The Government of the Republic of Cyprus aims at licensing part of the commercial operations of the Limassol Port, as part of its privatisation programme under its EU bailout agreement.

The Ministry of Communications and Works has published a competition for the ‘Provision of consulting services, expert advice and advisory support to the Government, for the licensing of part of the commercial operations of the Limassol Port in the Republic of Cyprus’.

Via the present competition, the Government seeks to select consultants for providing expert advice and advisory support, with particular experience in privatisations or partial privatisations, or infrastructure PPP’s, or land license agreements. The selected consultants will assist the Government in navigating the process of licensing part of the commercial operations of the Limassol Port (such as the cargo-handling operations) to a competent Port Operator, to the best benefit of the Cyprus Port Authority (CPA) / Government.

All relevant information is available on the Cyprus eProcurement System at www.eprocurement.gov.cy free of charge. The deadline for the submission of Requests to Participate is set on 2 May 2014, before 13:00. For further information please contact Mrs Aristidou on +357 22806764 or +357 22806709.
