Significant distinctions for PwC Cyprus Trainee Accountants

PwC Cyprus’ trainee accountants have achieved important distinctions in the 2019 examinations of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

The trainees were honoured for their achievements by PwC Cyprus, at a special ceremony, which took place on Wednesday, 18 December 2019, in the presence of PwC Cyprus CEO Mr Evgenios C Evgeniou and the Head of People, Mrs Anna Loizou.

During the event, Mr Evgeniou congratulated the trainees, stressing that their successes reaffirm the tradition of the organisation in achieving high performance and significant distinctions in the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) examinations. Mr Evgeniou also stated that "PwC Cyprus offers its trainees a high level of training, and all the necessary tools and support they need to make the most of their capabilities and talents".

More specifically, PwC’s trainee accountants achieved the following awards:

Dmytro Shynkarenko, a graduate of the National University of Kyiv Mohyla Academy, achieved First Place in Cyprus in the paper of Advanced Performance Management (APM), in September 2019 examinations.

Irene Gavriel, a graduate of the University of Cyprus, achieved First Place in Cyprus in the paper of Taxation (TX), in June 2019 examinations

Yevheniia Deniak, a graduate of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kiev, achieved First Place in Cyprus and 3rd worldwide in the paper of Audit and Assurance (AA) and First Place in Cyprus in the paper of Financial Management (FM), in June 2019 examinations.
