Fiona Mullen, Director of Sapienta Economics

CyprusProfile.com asked Fiona Mullen, Director of Sapienta Economics, about the prospects of the Cyprus economy.

"Although it will be many years before risks relating to high levels of non-performing loans and public debt disappear, the Cyprus economy is putting the crisis behind it. Economic indicators point to real GDP growth of around 2.8% again in 2017. The cherry on the cake in this pre-election year will be if parliament passes long overdue reforms to support investors and to introduce performance incentives in the public sector".
