Projects worth more than €300 million will be carried out for 2016–2018, Transport Minister Marios Demetriades said recently.
Speaking during an annual gathering of the builders’ association, he asked them to try restructure their industry on a more qualitative and productive basis focused on expertise and innovation.
Demetriades went on to tell the association to contribute to hiring local employees while in the meantime, the ministry would continue to look for new ways to kick-start projects, reduce bureaucracy and simplify procedures for private investments.
