Bailout cash for Cyprus in early December 2014

Finance Minister Haris Georgiades has said the much needed tranche of bailout cash from the troika will be paid to Nicosia in December 2014.

It is understood the transaction will be completed in the first ten days of December.

The EU and the IMF reached a deal in March 2013 to extend €10 billion in aid to Cyprus.

Last week Georgiades briefed the Eurogroup on the latest developments in Cyprus opening the way for the latest trance to be disbursed.
