BoC executive named 'Banker of the year' in Cyprus

Marios Skandalis, Director of the Group Compliance Division of the Bank of Cyprus Group, has been awarded the '2016 Banker of the Year-Cyprus' award by the internationally-acclaimed magazine Acquisition International of the Al Global Media Group.

“Winning the 2016 Banker of the Year-Cyprus award is a real honour for me and for the organisation I represent, but at the same time it constitutes yet another recognition of the collective effort of all of my colleagues at Bank of Cyprus,” Mr Skandalis said in a public statement.

He went on to note that over the last few years Bank of Cyprus has taken substantial steps enabling it to stand out from among other financial institutions – imparting even greater value to this award.

Each year Acquisition International grants awards to businesses and individuals in recognition of their ability, dedication and their hard work in succeeding in a competitive environment.
