Building permits issued from January-March 2015 amounted to 1,265, up 1% compared with the same period last year, according to data released recently by the Statistical Service of Cyprus.
The total value of these permits increased by 4.8% and the total area by 23.4%. Τhe number of units rose by 48.2%.
The municipal authorities and district administration offices issued 460 building permits during March 2015. The total value of these permits was €70.0 million and the total area 71.3 thousand square metres. These building permits allow for the construction of 297 units.
