Total deposits in Cyprus amounted to €54.8 billion in November 2024, according to the newly released Central Bank of Cyprus’ monetary and financial statistics report.

Cyprus has the potential to become a significant supplier of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to the European Union, provided pre-drilling surveys are confirmed, Energy Minister George Papanastasiou has said.

Tourism revenue in Cyprus reached €407.9 million in October 2024, marking a 17.7 per cent increase compared to the €346.5 million recorded in October 2023, according to the Cyprus Statistical Service.
