Co-ops merge service systems

Services offered by the Co-op bank will be consolidated island-wide from 12 January 2015, after the network merged its logistics systems.

Clients of the 18 co-op credit banks will be able to carry out their transactions from any branch. The Co-Op Bank said it would render the lender the biggest island-wide, with the largest automated teller machine network.

The move was a ‘significant’ technological upgrade for the bank, Co-Op Chairman Nicolas Hadjiyiannis was quoted as saying.
