The number of company registrations in November 2016 rose an annual 29% to 1,402, which is the highest figure in a single month since January 2013, the department of Company Registrar and Official Receiver said.
The number of company registrations from January to November, an indicator of the business, legal and accounting sector’s performance, rose 23% to 12,279 compared with the respective period of 2015, the department said.
In November, the number of certified documents issued and applications for company names rose 25% and 13% to 30,570 and 2,792 compared with the respective month of 2015, the registrar said. On the other hand, the number of other documents submitted dropped in November an annual 26% to 12,484.
