Coronavirus: task force set up to clarify decrees for public

The cabinet has appointed a task force with representatives from several ministries with the aim of informing members of the public and resolving the problems arising from the implementation of the decrees regarding the Covid-19 pandemic, the justice ministry said on Friday.

The task force is chaired by the justice ministry’s permanent secretary and has representatives of the health, trade and commerce, interior, and labour ministries and the presidency as members.

People wishing to secure permission for travel to, from or between the districts of Limassol and Paphos that are currently in partial lockdown, or who want to report any problems caused by the decrees, can send an email at lpanagi@mjpo.gov.cy .

The justice ministry clarifies that travel permissions concerning the two districts are granted only for extremely serious cases.
