Creative Geo-Tourism Conference, Exhibition & Business Forum

In spite of the hard times endured in Egypt, The President and Members of the Community Council of Platres in cooperation with the Commercial Office of the Egyptian Embassy in Cyprus & the Mawared Foundation of Sustainable Development is glad to announce a positive development concerning the twinning of the communities of Platres and St. Katherine. A two day 'Creative Geo-Tourism in the Green Heart of Cyprus' event is taking place in Platres.

The Egyptian delegation will be accompanied by several companies from the tourism sector as well as Oil and Renewables, Agro-food, Educational and Training (capacity building) institutions and other sectors (e.g. banking, consulting etc).

The Cyprus Egypt Business Association is a supporting partner of this initiative and is acting in accord with the Egyptian Embassy to ensure that companies wanting to meet with the Egyptian Business Delegation are given ample opportunity to do so.
