Low demand and lack of liquidity are the main problems Cypriot businesses face, a recent survey has shown.
The research by Cypronetwork group and the Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM), carried out between June and July with 400 participating businesses, found that one in three companies (33%) of those surveyed has created new jobs during the last six months, while the percentage of companies that have lost jobs is lower by 10 percentage points than in the previous survey.
Jobs were created but also lost mainly in the sectors of production of goods and services, sales and marketing.
