Cyprus Airways: Flights to Athens, London and Tel Aviv

Cyprus Airways launches flights to Greece, United Kingdom, Russia, Lebanon and Israel according to its newly published flight schedule.

According to a press release, the company will resume flights to Athens, a destination that has traditionally been one of the most popular in the Cypriot market. Flights to Athens will start on December 15, 2021, with 3 weekly flights, every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Flights to Heraklion, its second destination in Greece, will continue through the winter every Wednesday and Saturday.

Cyprus Airways will resume flights to Beirut from December 18, 2021, with 3 weekly flights and to Tel Aviv on January 10, 2022, with 2 weekly flights.

Flights to Moscow, the ideal city for winter holidays, will continue during the winter with two weekly flights, every Monday and Thursday.

Flights to London Heathrow Airport, Europe's busiest airport, are scheduled to start on February 1, 2022, with three weekly flights, every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. Flights to London will depart from Larnaca in the morning.

Cyprus Airways was recently acquired by the SJC Group, a Malta-based company with operations throughout Africa and the Middle East. The SJC Group operates in a variety of areas, including commercial helicopter flights, helicopter maintenance at Malta International Airport, and manages a fleet of private jets to provide emergency services to remote locations. The company is also a leading provider of fire safety, security and protection services.

Cyprus Airways CEO Simon Camilleri said: "We are excited to resume our flights to Athens, Beirut and Tel Aviv. We are constantly monitoring our flight program and we believe that these destinations will be popular for local travelers, while at the same time they will contribute to the increase of tourists visiting Cyprus during the winter season".

Passengers can book their tickets through the website, or through the Cyprus Airways call center (from Cyprus toll-free 8000 8111 or from abroad at +357 24000053) or through their travel agent.
