Cyprus and China signed Protocol for exports of dairy products

Cyprus and China initialed Beijing, a Cooperation Protocol for exports of dairy products.

The two countries have agreed on the requirements regarding the health and welfare of animals and public health on the milk products to be exported from the Republic of Cyprus to China.

On behalf of the Republic the Protocol was initialed by the Ambassador of the Republic in Beijing, Agis Loizou and on behalf of China by the Deputy Director General of the Office of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China (AQSIQ) Bai Lu.

The two officials set as a priority the formal signature of the Protocol at ministerial level and underlined the long lasting good cooperation between the two countries in several areas and the need for faithful implementation of the provisions of the Protocol on exports of dairy products.
