Trilateral cooperation in water resources management was on the agenda of a meeting between the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment Nicos Kouyialis with Israeli Ambassador to Cyprus Yael, Ravia Zadok.
An official press release says that Kouyialis and Zadok discussed issues pertaining to the preparation of the Trilateral Summit between Cyprus, Greece and Israel on January 28, during which a Memorandum of Understanding on water resources management will be signed by Kouyialis and his Israeli counterpart.
The meeting also covered the promotion and signing of a Memorandum in the field of environment.
Kouyialis and Zadok agreed that Cyprus and Israel should continue their cooperation through bilateral meetings on a technocratic level in the fields of forest fire prevention, household waste management and the promotion of research and exchange of expertise.
