Cyprus has published a new inspiring video to draw tourists back to the island, focusing on a “whole new world” and inviting travelers to go on a quest to reconnect with nature and personal journey experience.
Visit Cyprus, the state’s promotional organization for tourism in the Republic of Cyprus, uploaded a new YouTube video on Monday titled “Cyprus. From A Greener Point of View,” striking a solemn tone in sharp contrast with previous promos.
“Sometimes, what you are truly searching for, may be closer than you thought. Sometimes, all you need is a change of perspective, a change of your point of view,” Visit Cyprus said on YouTube.
The video highlights a number of themes including adventure and discovery, with a female voice over calling on guests not to hurry the journey as a man and a woman walk through the mountains taking in nature and appreciating every step of the way.
“And indeed, the journey left us in awe,” the narrator says, with music climaxing as the travelers eventually come face to face with Aoratos, an ancient tree in parts of high up in Troodos Mountains
“And then, there it was, an awe-inspiring majestic tree, a beautiful Aoratos standing strong for centuries now,” the woman says, reminding viewers that all they may need might be a change of point of view.
