Cyprus issues 7-year government bonds

The Ministry of Finance announced that it has issued 7-year government bonds amounting to €221.9 mn with a yield of 3.23%.

The issue has been oversubscribed by 151%, at the announced amount was €150 mn, the Public Debt Management Office (PDMO) said in a press release.

In today’s issue, the PDMO received tenders for a total amount of €226.7 mn and accepted tenders of nominal value amounting to €221,9 mn with a weighted average yield of 3,23%.

The accepted yields ranged between 3,04% – 3,25%.

On Monday, the PDMO issued 2-year government bonds amounting to €75 mn with a yield of 1.83%.
