Cyprus and Japan signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in higher education, a recent press release said.
According to the press statement, the Memorandum constitutes an important step towards the further strengthening of the bilateral relation and exchanges between the Republic of Cyprus and Japan.
It promotes cooperation in the fields of higher education and research, while it also encourages scientific activities and research cooperation between universities and other research institutions of the two states.
The Memorandum was signed by the accredited Ambassador of Cyprus to Japan Agis Loizou and the Deputy Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan Shinjiro Komatsu.
