Cyprus' job vacancies rise 4.1% in Q2 2016

The number of job vacancies rose 4.1% in the second quarter of 2016 to 3,389 compared to the respective period of 2015 and 11% compared to January to March, the statistical service said.

In April to June, the number of vacancies increased the most in hospitality and manufacturing where they rose by 363 and 205 to 1,242 and 371 respectively compared to the respective period of 2015, Cystat said in a statement on its website on Tuesday.

The number of employees rose in April to June a quarterly 4.8% to 323,133, or an annual 3%, Cystat said.
