Cyprus petroleum sales down by 18.6%

This November the total sales of petroleum products decreased by 18.6% compared to the previous month.

Figures released by the Statistical Service recently showed a decline in the provisions of aviation kerosene and gasoil for marine use, as well as in the sales of heavy and light fuel oil, motor gasoline and gasoil low sulphur. 

On the contrary, a rise was recorded in the sales of kerosene, gasoil and asphalt. The total stocks of petroleum products at the end of the month recorded an increase of 9.2% compared to the previous month.During the period January – November, the total sales of petroleum products recorded a decrease of 8.3% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
