Cyprus – South Africa Business Association set up

The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) recently announced the creation of the Cyprus – South Africa Business Association and calls on interested parties to join.

The association aims to promote, expand and encourage economic and trade relations between Cyprus and South Africa, to create and maintain on a regular communication between business communities and politicians of both and to organise meetings with officials of the two countries to help promote the activities of young entrepreneurs and to encourage cooperation between universities, research centres and business of both countries, particularly in the area of innovation and new technology.

It also plans to present to the South African market the dynamic aspects of the Cyprus economy, with emphasis on the opportunities for international and South African companies to trade not only with Cyprus but also via Cyprus to the Middle East, North Africa, Eastern Europe, the Balkan Countries and the EU.
