Cyprus tipped as Easter break hotspot

The British Post Office Travel Money Report shows Portugal, Tenerife and Cyprus offer tourists exceptional value for holidays.

"Although holidaymakers will get far more travel cash for their pounds in the eurozone, prices vary significantly between resorts, so the best advice is for canny travellers to cherry pick and book a resort where prices are cheapest,” said Andrew Brown of Post Office Travel Money.

The report adds the Canary Islands and Cyprus offer more guaranteed spring sunshine than their bargain counterparts.

Britons looking to save would be wise to stay away from the US, due to a poor exchange rate, the report concludes.
