Cyprus trade deficit shrinks to € - 3.4 billion in the period January - October 2018, according to Eurostat.

The value of Cyprus` total exports stood at €4 billion in the period January to October 2018, representing an increase of 56% compared to the same period of 2017, according to Eurostat, the statistical office of the EU.

More specifically the value of Cyprus` exports to the EU was €1 billion (10% increase) and outside the EU €3 billion (84% increase). Meanwhile Cyprus` total imports amounted to €7billion, a 14% increase compared to the same period of last year (€4 billion from the EU, or 9% increase and €3 billion form the rest of the world or 21% increase).
