Cyprus Trading Corporation appoints new CEO

Cyprus Trading Corporation Plc (CTC) named Marios Shacolas as its new Executive Chairman and CEO in an announcement on the Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) recently.

CTC’s new Executive Chairman takes over the helm from the founder of CTC Group, Nicolas Shacolas, who was appointed Life Honorary President of the company at CTC’s Annual General Meeting on Thursday.

Cyprus Trading Corporation Plc, regarded as the biggest commercial organisation in Cyprus, is a public companylisted on the Cyprus Stock Exchange. Its main shareholder is N. K. Shacolas (Holdings).

Its diverse operations include the distribution and logistics of consumer goods such as luxury cosmetics, retail fashion and home appliances to commercial vehicles, heavy machinery and property development and management of major projects like retail outlets, shopping malls and golf courses. CTC was holds a 25-year contract with the government of Cyprus for building and operating Larnaca and Pafos airports, under the BOT method (Build, Operate, Transfer).
