Cyprus’ Turnover Volume Index of Retail Trade up

Turnover Volume Index of Retail Trade in Cyprus has marked an increase in a monthly and annual basis, according to the official Statistical Service.

The data which is based on provisional estimates has the Turnover Volume Index of Retail Trade for November 2019 increasing by 6.6% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year and reaching 124.7 units (base 2015=100).

For the January-November 2019 period, the index is estimated to have recorded an increase of 3.2% compared to the same period of 2018.

At the same time, the Turnover Value Index of Retail Trade for November 2019 increased by 3.9% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year and reached 120.8 units (base 2015=100). For the January-November 2019 months the index is estimated to have recorded an increase of 1.8% compared to the same period of 2018.
