Cyprus can offer attractive partnership prospects due to high standard of education and research, R&D funding opportunities with the highest absorption rate of EU grants (as a member of the EU), its location on the crossroads of Europe, Africa and Asia, multilingual and qualified local and global talent, historical close ties with the UK, including in education, English widely spoken and used by Universities as the main teaching language, and other benefits.

Development of the Higher Education is a priority for the Government of the Republic of Cyprus and Cypriot Universities are actively establishing international partnerships, with particular interest in the UK.

At the Event, Cypriot Universities will present themselves and what type of cooperation they are looking for and can offer. We also aim to enable direct contact between British and Cypriot participants by organising as part of the Event individual meetings upon request, as well as providing direct contact details for further communication. The participation is free.
