Cyprus-Ukraine business relations boosted

The visit of a large, multi-member representation from the Ukraine in Cyprus between 12 and 16 June, 2016 was completed successfully.

The business mission was organised as part of joint efforts between the Chambers of Commerce of the two countries, and with the support of EUROCHAMBERS, the European Chambers Association.

The businesses in the mission were mostly from the sector of agricultural and livestock products, along with the tourism and manufacturing sector.

The mission’s itinerary included visits to manufacturing industries, hotel units, the Limassol Marina, along with other places of commercial and investment interest.

There were also contacts with members of the Chambers in Nicosia, Larnaca, Limassol and Paphos, and an agreement for cooperation was signed between the Larnaca and Donetsk Chambers.

The meetings took place in a very friendly and professional climate,preparing the ground for future contacts which will help the effort to further increase trade between the two countries and strengthen the bonds that tie Cyprus and the Ukraine.
