Deflationary trends persist in Oct 2016, at -1.2%

The Consumer Price Index for October 2016, increased by 0,08 units to 99,22 units compared to 99,14 units in September 2016.

When compared to October 2015, CPI is reduced by 1.2% while for the period between January and October 2016, CPI is also decreased by 1.6% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

In the twelve-month period from November 2015 to October 2016, in comparison to the period from November 2014 to October 2015, the annual average rate of change of the CPI was -1.6%. The corresponding annual average rate of change of the CPI in the previous year was -2.0%.
