Economic forecasts for Cyprus positive through 2018

A Bloomberg survey of 9 economists' forecasts for Cyprus’ economic indicators through 2018 is good news for the Cyprus economy.

According to the survey the average forecast for GDP growth in 2016 is 2.5%, for 2017 it is 2.1%, and 2.1% in 2018.

With regards to changes in the Consumer Price Index, or inflation, the average rate projected for 2016 YoY is -0.8%, for 2017 it is 1.0%, and for 2018 1.5%.

The unemployment rate is projected to be 13% in 2016, 12.2% in 2017, and 11.4% in 2018.
