Elias Neocleous & Co LLC commences its 2020-2021 training programme.

Elias Neocleous & Co LLC would like to extend a warm welcome to our nine new trainee lawyers who are about to commence their training programme with us. Once again competition for a place on the programme has been fierce, and our newest recruits have all successfully passed through a rigorous and demanding selection process. Unsurprisingly, all our recruits can boast an excellent academic record and an impressive array of qualifications including PhDs, LLMs, LLBs, and LPCs. However, as a significant international firm we also prize diversity and demand that our successful candidates possess other skills and attributes beyond the purely academic.

This autumn’s intake has experience of living and working in countries and cities which include Spain, Singapore, Japan, France, Brussels, Frankfurt, New York and, Luxembourg. Consequently, along with proficiency in Greek, fluency in at least one other language such as English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, or Russian is commonplace. Many trainees have also had prior experience of working within major international law firms. Additionally, during the selection process they have demonstrated strong writing, research, and technological abilities and an impressive regard for the pursuits of excellence and justice.

In the year ahead we look forward to working with them, and to helping them develop into professional lawyers who can become leading experts in their chosen fields of law.
