According to an official press release, Lakkotrypis will hold separate meetings with Jordan’s Energy Minister Mohammad Hamed, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Nidal Mardi Al Qatamine and Minister of Industry and Commerce Hatem Hafez Al Halawani.
Lakkotrypis and Hamed are expected to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation on energy issues and to sign a Memorandum of Understanding.
With Jordan’s Minister of Tourism and Antiquities he will discuss ways to upgrade tourist relations whereas with the Minister of Industry and Commerce they will focus on further developing commercial ties between Cyprus and Jordan.
While in Amman, the Cypriot Minister will also attend an event organized by the city’s Chamber of Commerce where he will present investment and business opportunities in Cyprus.
