EY Cyprus introduces flexible work policy

EY recognizes that many talented and capable people need to work flexibly whilst pursuing their professional ambitions. Over the last years, flexible working has become the way we do business across the globe – it is now embedded into our culture, whether on a formal or informal basis.

We provide workspaces that enable fluid working patterns, invest in robust technology that supports flexible working regardless of location and have developed effective communication channels across the firm. We are committed to being an inclusive employer and encourage our employees to work flexibly.

At EY Cyprus, our policies and practices are aligned with global principles and are designed to support the needs and personal time commitments of our employees. We understand that requirements change as people’s lives and careers evolve, often leading them to seek flexible work arrangements for a variety of reasons.

As part of the continuous improvement of our work environment, we have revised our flexible work policy to further support our employees in their efforts to balance their work with their personal needs and commitments. The renewed policy introduces increased flexibility in terms of working hours and workplace, as well as formal flexible working arrangements on a temporary or permanent basis.

On the introduction of the new flexible work policy, Maria Sergiou, Head of Talent at EY Cyprus, commented: “EY globally is committed to a work culture of flexibility and diversity. Our enhanced flexible work policy will support our employees in their efforts to combine their work and career requirements with their personal ambitions and family or other obligations. EY seeks to create the highest-performing teams and a flexible work policy is another step in that direction”.
