Plots of land, shops, and to a lesser degree apartments and residences are some of the immovable property given to the Coop by some of its customers to pay off debt.
The Coop’s 'property received in satisfaction of debt' keeps on increasing, and is available for review on the Cooperative Central Bank website.
The interest in purchases appears to be limited as there are immovable properties listed for sale since 2015.
