‘Golden’ property for sale by the Coop

Plots of land, shops, and to a lesser degree apartments and residences are some of the immovable property given to the Coop by some of its customers to pay off debt.

The Coop’s 'property received in satisfaction of debt' keeps on increasing, and is available for review on the Cooperative Central Bank website.

The interest in purchases appears to be limited as there are immovable properties listed for sale since 2015.

Among the most valuable properties for sale are residential plots of land in the Paphos District. In the Geroskipou Municipality there is a plot 21,316 sq. m. large with a selling price of €4,475,000. Another plot of land in the same municipality is 66,954 sq. m. with a selling price of €8,750,000.

A plot of land by the beach, 23,255 sq. m. in the Mouttalos area is valued at €9,000,000.

Among the cases of  plots of land valued above one million is property in the Ayios Antonios area in Nicosia, 802 sq. m. large, valued at €1,950,000.

A ten-storey building in the Strovolos Municipality, 1,451 sq. m. large, is offered for sale at €4,825,000.

A commercial plot of land in the Aglantzia Municipality (near Lidl), 587 sq. m. large, is going for sale for €565,000, while a plot of land in Strovolos, 511 sq. m. is selling for €305,000..

A residential plot of land in Kaimakli that is 534 sq. m. large is selling for €260,000, while a store with a ground floor and mezzanine in the Ayios Antonios area is offered for the price of €220,000.
