Government sells €125m in T-bills

The government has sold 13-week treasury bills worth €125 million at an average yield of 2.96%, the Finance Ministry said recently.

Overall demand for the debt issue totalled €208 million and their yield averaged at 3.11%, the Finance Ministry said in an emailed statement.

The ministry’s public debt management office accepted a total of €105.6 million in competitive bids and €19.4 million in non-competitive bids, the statement said.

The next issue of treasury bills is expected to be held on March 3, 2015, the Finance Ministry said on January 22.
