Government to auction €125m in treasury bills in February 2015

The government is planning to offer up to €125 million of 13-weeks treasury bills on February 3, 2015 the Finance Ministry said recently.

The issue date of the treasury bills is February 6, and they will mature on May 8, the Finance Ministry said in an emailed statement today, adding that the bills which will have zero interest rate, will be listed at the Cyprus Stock Exchange.

In a separate statement, the Finance Ministry said that it will also offer treasury-bills with a maturity ranging between 30 days and 26 weeks, on eight additional days in the first half of 2015, without specifying the respective amounts.
