Harmonised consumer price index seen at -0.3% in April 2018

The harmonised consumer price index dropped in April 0.3% compared to the respective month of 2017 mainly on cheaper industrial products, the statistical service said.

In January to April, the annual harmonised inflation rate was minus 0.6%, Cystat said in a statement on its website.

Compared to March, prices for consumers and tourists in Cyprus rose 1.1% in April, Cystat said.
