IMF says reform momentum in Cyprus must be maintained

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) published recently its report on the completion of the fifth, sixth, and seventh reviews of Cyprus’ reform program.

The IMF pointed out that despite the encouraging developments, the challenge is to maintain the reform momentum in the face of a difficult political environment.

According to the report, the authorities have made major strides on their reform program, and their strategy is bearing results.

“Cyprus’s Fund-supported reform program continues to produce positive results,” said the report.
