Local and foreign candidate investors will soon be able to retrieve information on the processes and various licenses required for the investment they plan to make on the island.
Fifteen investment areas, such as infrastructure, educational foundations and research centres, have already been mapped. At a second stage, the authorities will seek to buy market expertise services for the evaluation of Cyprus’ competiveness in each sector, and the identification of weaknesses and advantages.
The competiveness report will be a key tool in evaluating and analysing the challenges and factors which negatively affect the competiveness of Cypriot products and services in the international arena. The report is also expected to help in identifying and taking corrective measures.
