Lars Kramer unveiled as new CFO of Hellenic Bank

The appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) was announced by Hellenic Bank recently. The lender’s new CFO will be Lars Kramer, who will be moving from the ING Group, after beginning his career at PwC in South Africa.

His appointment has been approved by the Central Bank of Cyprus and will take effect on April 3, 2017.

Kramer will be moving to Hellenic after serving as CFO of ING Wholesale Bank since 2012. He entered the ING Group in 1997, where for a period of two decades he held various positions in the financial sector based in London, Hong Kong, Singapore, the Netherlands. Among his positions were CFO of ING Retail Banking Direct and International (between 2010 and 2012), CFO of ING Direct (between 2008 and 2010) and CFO of ING Wholesale Asia (between 2003 and 2008).

Kramer began his professional career at PwC in South Africa, where he earned the title of chartered accountant. He holds a BSc in Accounting from the University of South Africa, along with an MBA from the University of Cape Town.
