The period of exchange of Cyprus pound banknotes with euros will expire on December 31st 2017.
The banknotes can only be exchanged at the Central Bank of Cyprus.

It is estimated that there are still €67 million worth Cyprus pounds left unchanged.
The Cyprus pound ceased to be the official currency of the Republic of Cyprus with its entry into the euro area on 1 January 2008.
