More flights to Vienna

Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air announced recently it will start flights between Larnaca and Vienna from November 2018.

The largest low-fare airline in Central and Eastern Europe will have four-weekly flights between the two airports on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from November 25, 2018 with prices starting at €49.99.

With the addition of these flights Wizz Air will offer 14 routes to 10 countries from Larnaca airport by the end of 2018.

“We are looking forward to continuing our constructive cooperation with Larnaca International Airport and remain committed to offering even more exciting opportunities that best meet the needs of our Cypriot clients. In addition, we recently announced the new route that will link Larnaca to London next spring,” Sorina Ratz, Wizz Air corporate communications manager said.

The new service from Larnaca to London’s Luton airport, which will start on May 30, was announced in November 2017.

According to airport operator Hermes, Vienna was gradually becoming one of the most popular destinations for Cypriots.
