New prospects for Cyprus tourism industry

Rapid changes in the global tourism industry, new prospects for Cyprus, and increasingly intense competition will be in focus at the annual Cyprus Hotels Association (PASYXE) conference in Nicosia next week.

The annual Cyprus Hotels Association (PASYXE) conference will include high-profile speakers such as Director of the World Tourism Organisation Martin Brackenbury, and representatives of the Russian and Ukrainian tourism industries, along with top officials from the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency (CIPA), and Hermes Airports.

Delegates will examine the current status of the UK and Russian markets, and the emerging Ukrainian one, how to attract major investors and create new strategic alliances. The conference will be addressed by the commerce minister, the chief executive of PwC and the president of PASYXE. The conference will be followed by an Exhibition of Products and Services.
