In the modern era, it is important for large organisations to support their people and look after their well-being. In this context, PwC Cyprus adopted the ground-breaking programme "Be Well, Work Well", which is part of the organisation's new global approach to well-being.

Flexibility and well-being make up one of the four pillars of PwC Cyprus's initiatives and actions, while they are a top priority for the organisation’s Human Resources department and Wellbeing team. From 1st June 2019, the organisation adopted a new flexible work scheme, the "Everyday Flexibility", providing staff with the opportunity to gain greater control over their own time, by offering flexibility as to where, how and when they will work, in order to tend to their personal needs and at the same time provide high-quality services, meeting the needs of their clients.

With the "Be Well, Work Well" programme, PwC Cyprus continues to support its people by investing in their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being, while seeking to continuously improve their daily lives, both professionally and personally. Among other things, the organisation’s staff receive professional advice on nutrition, free fruit on a daily basis, while they can attend physical therapy sessions on a weekly basis and receive medical services twice a month. Additionally, the organization has supported the creation of various clubs such as football, basketball, squash, dancing, bowling, classic car, outdoor activities and others. At the same time, as part of the continuing education of its staff and executives, the company holds sessions on work stress management and better time management.

In statements, PwC Cyprus’ CEO Evgenios Evgeniou said that above all, our principles and values make us who we are. “At PwC Cyprus we always strive to be one step ahead for the benefit of our organisation, our people and the society.
