Rating agencies' remarks map out Cyprus' next moves

Rating Agencies remarks should be carefully recorded as they map out the framework of moves Cyprus should take towards restoring confidence in the country, Minister of Finance Harris Georgiades said in a written statement.

"It is important to understand the significance of positive evaluations and of the great benefit that would arise from further upgrading of the creditworthiness of Cyprus”, the Minister points out.

“We should, at the same time, record carefully the remarks of the agencies which map out the framework of our moves in the post Memorandum era, which will lead to the complete and final restoration of confidence in our country”, he concludes.
