The seminar aims to enhance awareness and understanding of the Mandatory Disclosure Regime (‘’MDR’’) as this is provided by EU Council Directive 2011/16 (‘’DAC6 Directive’’) as well as indicating applicable challenges and means to address them.
By the end of the seminar the participants will be given the opportunity to understand the main provisions of the EU DAC6 Directive and the applicable Cypriot legislation as well as understand the fundamentals of reportable cross border arrangements. Participants will be provided with a practical implementation of the Directive provisions through the examination of relevant case studies and examples to provide an insight to the different arrangements for which they may be requested to report as intermediaries.
