This year marked a significant evolution of this long-standing initiative. Building on the success of previous years, we redesigned the programme as a structured two-week journey, offering students genuine insight into our firm, our people and the many disciplines that contribute to our success.

Throughout the summer, we welcomed more than 40 students from a wide range of academic backgrounds. While many joined us with an interest in law, others came from disciplines including accounting, finance, business, technology, human resources and the creative fields. This diversity enriched the experience and reflected the multidisciplinary nature of today’s legal and business environment.

Each intern became part of a team and was supported by both a mentor and a coach. This allowed participants to learn directly from our people, gain first-hand workplace exposure and receive meaningful guidance throughout their time with the firm.

 A central feature of the renewed programme was a comprehensive series of presentations, interactive sessions and discussions led by colleagues from across all our departments and practice areas. Through these sessions, students gained a broader understanding of how a leading law firm operates, explored the variety of professional roles available and discovered how different teams and disciplines work together to deliver exceptional service to clients.

Beyond introducing students to our practice areas, the programme offered insight into the culture and values that shape our firm and the professional standards that underpin everything we do. Participants were encouraged to ask questions, exchange ideas and take an active role in their learning, helping them better understand the professional world and consider where their own strengths and ambitions could lead.

The Summer Internship Programme is also an important investment in the future of our firm and profession. It allows us to build relationships with talented young individuals at an early stage of their development. Over the years, many former interns have remained connected with the firm, with some later returning as trainees, associates and valued members of our team.

We sincerely congratulate all the students who completed the programme and thank them for the enthusiasm, curiosity and fresh perspectives they brought to our workplace.

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to every colleague who volunteered their time to present, mentor, coach and support our interns. Their contribution was essential in creating a meaningful, inspiring and memorable experience for everyone involved.

As our interns continue their academic and professional journeys, we hope they leave us with greater confidence, clearer aspirations and a deeper understanding of the opportunities ahead. We look forward to following their progress and, we hope, welcoming some of them back to Elias Neocleous & Co LLC in the future.
