Supporting Russian entrepreneurs in Cyprus

Cyprus and Russia further enhanced their business commitments to one another with the opening of a Russian Desk by the Cyprus Russian Business Association (CyRuBA).

The objectives of the Russian Desk are to support and assist Russian entrepreneurs in their everyday activities, enhance their business relationships and strengthen their connection with the Russian market by promoting Cyprus as an International Business Centre.

Leading the Russian Desk, which is based at the Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is Mila Levinskaya. The Russian Desk was officially launched on April 21 2016.

The unveiling event, sponsored by Piraeus Bank, opened with an address to the 150 business guests from Russia and Cyprus, by the CyRuBA President, Evgenios Evgeniou, Dr. Andrey Gromov, the Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy of the Russian Federation and Ms. Mila Levinskaya.

CyRuBA was established in 1996 under the auspices of Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in association with the Russian Embassy and the support from the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

Limassol is a hub for the majority of the Russian business people in Cyprus and it is the city where most of the Russian business establishments are located.
