Mr. Craig Ballantyne, Property President of City of Dreams Mediterranean and Cyprus Casinos, noted:
“Even though C2 is a pop-up casino, this property will give new meaning to the term. We’ve invested close to €13 million in this facility to ensure that every one of our guests experience the renowned standards and quality of service for which Melco, one of the world’s largest integrated resort operators is famous for.”
The temporary casino has 33 tables and 242 slot machines, a VIP gaming area, a restaurant and two bars serving food and drinks. The facility employs 593 people and can accommodate up to 1,000 customers.
The temporary casino is expected to be the first of the five satellite gaming facilities that will open in Cyprus in the coming months, part of the City of Dreams Mediterranean (CDM) resort .
It will be operational until 2021 when the City of Dreams Mediterranean integrated casino resort is expected to be launched.
It is predicted that temporary casinos will also open in Nicosia and Paphos by the end of 2018, while in Larnaca and Famagusta by the end of 2019.
